Kawakawa (Macropiper excelsum) is a New Zealand native leaf and one of the most prominent plants in Māori medicine. Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, Kawakawa also assists the liver and puku (stomach) and has also traditionally been used to soothe toothache. We have blended this special rongoā/medicine with a light syrup to create a wonderfully balanced taste, a refreshing and revitalising drink that is as delicious as it is unique.
